Now in its last week Reginald Cunningham is presenting “Black Pearls”, a story of generations at the Boca Raton Museum of Art.

Working with Dr. Candace Cunningham, Reginald Cunningham has captured not just images of Pearl City residents, but also the physical and ephemeral elements that make up the community. Pearl City is the oldest existing neighborhood in Boca. This work has also captured oral histories, which will be of great importance for historians. For this project Dr. Candace Cunningham’s historical essay on Pearl City was supported by the Boca Raton Historical Society. see “Pearl City: A Community Remembers.”

Information on the location of the exhibition, and where to purchase tickets can be found here.
