In this Clan Communique a problem with data published by prior historians has been resolved. This allowed me to more solidly combine the history of Anfrid de Canci to Amfred to Legbourne. I was able to now construct a story that is far more consistent, and for the first time I can now explain the use of the de Percy and de Canci titles, and the data appears to confirm that landowners, in the 12th century days, would use different titles, with the title being specific to the areas where the charters were being created. This can be seen in the various titles given to Amfred (as seen in the above image)
